Engine management and Exhaust AfterTreatment forms part of the program for ST qualification “Powertrain” certification. During this face-to-face session you will apply the information and tasks regarding the engine management system, the sensors and signals. This will give invaluable knowledge for diagnosis on the Truck range of engine management systems. At the end of the training course you will also have the knowledge and skillset to: describe the integration of the new transmission management system in the networking scheme, the design and individual functions of the control units for drive control, adaptive drive control and gear control, the new clutch operating mechanism, the new shifting systems, the interaction of the transmission and drive control systems, assess exemplary input and output signals on control units and components of the gearshift systems, evaluate actual values and the associated driving situations, use DAS to identify and eliminate the effects of mechanical faults on the gearshift system, perform a diagnosis on the transmission management systems, perform test, adjustment and repair work.
